The NEW EQ4 mount features solid metal construction, setting circles and locking knobs in declination and right ascension, counterbalance shaft and weight, latitude adjuster, and slow-motion controls with detachable flex cables on both axes.
The Mount is attached to a reinforced KT-4, fully adjustable, pre-assembled metal tripod with retractable rubber feet. The tripod also features an accessory tray with slots to place 4 1¼" eyepieces or lenses. The telescope tube assembly is finished with a 1 ¼ " format focus tube. The SS-G900135EQ4SF optical tube assembly features a 900mm focal length. The large primary mirror is 135mm in diameter and is mounted in a heavy-duty mirror cell with push / pull collimation screws
The finder is Galileo's Mars-Eye Finder which helps get the observer behind the telescope without losing the surrounding field of view when targeting objects. The G-SPA Smart Phone adapter mounts to the telescope and allows you to use the camera feature on your smartphone to take pictures or video through the optics of your binoculars, spotting scope, microscope, etc.
You can also mount your Smartphone on a standard camera tripod for hands-free video calls, family photos with everyone in the picture, or anytime you want to include yourself. It fits most popular smartphones.
Included with the SS-G900135EQ4SF are a 1¼" 10mm Plössl eyepiece, a 1¼" 25mm Astroscopic Eyepiece, Solar Filter, and a two-element 3x Astroscopic Barlow. Lastly, the Cassini Stellarium Download brings skies over your home or anywhere in the world.
